The Chronicles begin their January residency at Red Square, with special guest West End Blend.
The Chronicles are a 6-piece high energy band that brings together Jazz, Funk, Soul, and HipHop into one genre-bending sound. The group was formed in 2009 and is the brain child of Bryan Brundige and Jeff Nania. The band consists of Bryan Brundige (trombone), Jeff Nania (saxophone), Paul Philippone (keys/organ), Justin Henricks (guitar), Daniel Lawson (bass), and Andrae Surgick (drums). The Chronicles hail from Albany, NY and have had the opportunity to play at several theaters, music festivals and venues in the northeast, such as: the Massry Center for the Arts, Proctor's GE Theater, the NH Jazz Center, Riverfront Jazz Festival, LarkFEST, Backwoods Pondfest, Bella Terra Festival, Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, African American Heritage Day, Tulip Fest, Beatshot Music Festival and many more. They have shared the stage with: Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Pedrito Martinez, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Alan Evans Trio, Melvin Seals and JGB, J-Live, Oddisee, Bernie Worrell, Turkuaz, and many more.
